244 Un-confirmed Minutes of an Extraordinary Meeting of the Silverdale Children’s Playground Charity Trustees held in the Silverdale Institute on Monday, 7th October 2013.
245 Present: Chairman – Councillor T.G. (Terry) Bond, Councillors H.M.E. (Harriet) Bradfield, A.J. (Tony) Houghton, K. (Keith) Palmer and P.N. (Paul) Williams, the Deputy Clerk – S.D. (Sue) Hayward and one member of the public.
246 Apologies for Absence: Councillors S.L. (Shirley) Mason, N. (Nigel) Ribbons and A. (Angela) Woods and the Clerk – L.D. (Denise) Challenor.
247 Minutes of Previous Meeting
The Minutes of the Ordinary meeting of the Playground Charity Trustees held on Monday, 2nd September 2013 were approved then signed by the Chairman.
248 Receipt of Information about Matters Arising from the Minutes of Previous Meetings, not Covered by the Agenda
The Chairman referred to: (1) item 239, regarding grass cutting etc, and noted that the grass is being cut more frequently and the cuttings are being taken away, (2) item 242, regarding fund raising, and reported that a number of activities have been arranged including a quiz night at the Silverdale Hotel (8th November), a quiz sheet and stalls on Field Day and at the Cove House garden party. The charity is also on the reserve list for a coffee morning at the Gaskell Hall should a Saturday morning slot become available.

250 Matters Raised by Members of the Public for Future Consideration
None.
251 Inspection Report
It was noted that Mr Stefan Laws’ inspection reports have not raised any matters of concern.
252 Aerial Runway
It was noted that a new adjuster bar for the aerial slide is necessary. RESOLVED to ask Silverdale Parish Council if they will fund it (cost – £313.66) and to ask Playdale for advice on maintaining the adjuster bar to prevent it breaking again.
253 Date of Next Meeting
It was noted that the date of the next meeting is Monday, 4th November 2013.
