361 Inspection Report/ Repairs
Councillor Bennet reported on the inspection made with Councillor Ribbons on 6th October in the light of the issues raised by Mr Laws: (1) the roof panels on top of each of the two towers are rotting and there are some rough edges where pieces have broken off. It was noted that the panels are not structural; (2) the cradle swing does not swing correctly as the casing to one anti-wrap bearing is damaged. It was noted that replacement parts have been ordered from Playdale; (3) the platform floor at the slide end is beginning to delaminate in one place. At present this is not considered a structural issue nor a trip or splinter hazard; (4) it was noted that the loose stones on the entrance wall have already been re-fixed.
RESOLVED that Mr Laws be asked to smooth any rough edges to the roof panels and that Councillor Bennett obtain and circulate quotations for replacing the eight roof panels and platform floor.

It was noted that the date of the next meeting is Monday, 1st February 2016.
